Your Contributions Support The Programs of the Foundation
We recognize that there are many worthwhile organizations and charities that seek your financial support, and we realize that you are only able to commit to the extent your individual ability. As a Barat College alumnus/alumna or friend, you have a vested interest in our programs to perpetuate the heritage and legacy of the College and Madeleine Sophie Barat, Foundress of the Society of the Sacred Heart.
Our initiatives encompass programs that look to the future: building tomorrow’s leaders, developing good citizenship, providing educational opportunities through scholarships and grants, and building partnerships that expand our programs and service to a wider community.
You are vital to these initiatives. We need your financial support, which is tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

Gifts of Securities
We welcome your gift of stocks or bonds. If you plan to make your gift in this way, please notify our office for detailed account and DTC information. When stock is transferred from one institution to another, the donor information is rarely transmitted, which might result in a delay of your acknowledgment. It is very important that you contact the Foundation office with your intentions so that we can assist you.
The long-term needs of the Barat Education Foundation programs and the deserving recipients must be considered. As you prepare your will, we respectfully request that you include a bequest to the Foundation, specifying how you want your bequest to be used.
Perhaps you would like to have a scholarship named in your honor or that of a loved one. We will be happy to have our Board Chair or our Board Attorney arrange a meeting at your convenience to discuss the ways in which your bequest can honor your legacy and fulfill your wishes.
Please contact The Barat Education Foundation at 847.574.2465 or go to the Contact page to request that the Foundation contact you at your convenience.
